Kuala Lumpur over the Formula One Championship Weekend: Where to Party
Perhaps it’s the pouring rain, the blistering heat shimmering off scorched tarmac or the smell of petrol and rubber. Or maybe it’s the parties, models and music that make F1 so fun when it comes to Kuala Lumpur. Whatever the formula that makes F1 so exciting, it’s back again this March.
On the weekend of the 27th March the 66th season of the Formula One World Championship arrives in Kuala Lumpur for only the ninth time at the Sepang International Circuit. And as with every Formula One weekend, there will be parties…
One of the biggest parties in town will be organised by The Marini’s Group, and you can be sure founder Modesto Marini will be in the thick of things (he’s a major F1 fan). Since the F1 began in Malaysia, Modesto has always celebrated it with parties, and this year it’s only getting bigger.

The Friday night of the F1 weekend will feature a series of special F1 cocktails for the F1 teams and music by international DJ and producer Joey Negro, who’s scored a number of Top 40 hits, among them “American Dream”, “So Lonely” and “My Vision”.
Professional F1 drivers and crew have been known to drop in as well whenever they are in town!
M8 Bar presents the Mambo Brothers for the first time in Malaysia
